Allround-cloud-based solution for mobile apps

Firebase is a commercial Development Platform for Mobile and Web Applications, launched in 2011 by Start-Up Evolve, and shortly after acquired by Google.

Firebase brings together a variety of different services that are needed to develop Mobile Apps or Web Apps, including: the Receipt and Delivery of Push Messages (called push notifications), an interface for Registering and Authenticating Users, a Real-Time Database for storing and accessing data, and Hosting Backend Functions that must be executed by the server.

From a certain usage quota, there are costs for using Firebase. There is a free open source variant, provided I the company Parse. This version is which is installed on its own server.
